Discovery of a wild and preserved area : Lake of Hourtin-Carcans

When you leave the Camping Chesnays, you can follow the direction of the Lakes Route and Lake Hourtin-Carcans where you will discover the largest freshwater lake in France.
It is in the heart of a preserved environment, consisting of marshes, sand dunes and pine forests that is this huge lake. Many water and outdoor activities are available.
At the edge of the lake and the port, you will discover with the family the children’s island, a leisure park dedicated to children from 3 months to 12 years.
